Sum is Greater Than the Parts

As followers of Christ, each of us has been endowed with a variety of spiritual gifts (Ephesians 4). Those gifts were meant to be used to serve. We're big believers that each person's gifts play an important role in the body. At The Open Door, sitting on the sidelines is highly discouraged. Afterall, it's pretty boring. We encourage every believer to plug into a ministry, or create a new ministry that allows each person to use his or her spiritual gifts to glorify God.
